ABOUT BUCHAN DIRLERS CC

BDCC is based in Mintlaw in rural Buchan in Aberdeenshire.  The club is run by local keen cyclists.

We organise recreational rides on Tuesday & Thursday evenings at 6pm and also Sundays at 9am ranging in distance from 20 to 35 miles.

We hold monthly Coffee Dirls of approximately 40 miles.  We also hold a small number of away rides in different parts of Aberdeenshire and Moray throughout the year.

As a growing club, we are looking to not only expand our membership, but also expand our activities.  Over the coming year we will be organising short breaks, allowing members to ride in areas of the UK and abroad that they haven't risen before.

Our members are very keen participants in sportives and local charity rides.  Each year we nominate a charity of the year that we raise funds for.  In 2019, we raised funds for Scotland's Charity Air Ambulance.

PLEASE NOTE THAT CLUB RIDES ARE CURRENTLY ONLY TAKING PLACE ON SUNDAY'S AT 9AM DUE TO THE IMPACT OF COVID-19.

"Ride as much or as little, as long or as short as you feel.  But ride."
